This page contains all gas safety information and documentation for Caban Heli. Gas safety compliance is managed by Plas Heli Cyf and supports safe operation for all users of the building, including Derwen, Sea Jay Marine, and the proposed four retail/commercial units.
Gas System Overview
Caban Heli is supplied by a mains natural gas connection provided by British Gas. The gas system is limited to heating only and does not supply any cooking or other gas appliances.

Gas Appliances and Heating
The gas system at Caban Heli is used exclusively for heating. There are no gas cooking appliances and no internal gas connection points within the building.
- Main Gas Boiler: Located in the first-floor plant room. Provides heating to radiators throughout the building (except Stiwdio Heli).
- Stiwdio Heli Boiler: A modern combination boiler serving the Stiwdio Heli area only.
Gas Safety Inspections
Gas safety inspections are carried out annually by qualified Gas Safe engineers. Recent inspections include:
- AER Cymru – Gas Safety Check completed September 2026
- Tristan Humphries – Gas Safety Check completed December 2025
