On the 25th of September, Plas Heli will be hosting a day of activities on Glan Don beach, Pwllheli, and Plas Heli, - Hwyl yr Heli. In conjunction with local outdoor activity clubs, that will offer taster sessions in Rowing, Sailing, Kayaking, Paddleboarding, etc, of an hour for children and adults, with the clubs on hand to answer any enquiry about joining the clubs.
As well as the water-based sessions, the National Trust will be on the Beach, with beach games, and a Bouncy Castle, and trampolines, as well as a face painter will be here for the youngest children. For the adults not wishing to participate in the water-based activities, The Deck, our bar and restaurant at Plas heli, will be open throughout the day, for refreshments.

What is the date and start time?
Sunday 25th September 2016. First session starting at 10:00 am and then hourly, with the last water-based session at 3:00pm. Please make sure that you arrive at Plas Heli 15 minutes prior to your session start time.
What facilities/amenities are available?
Male and female toilet and shower facilities
Free parking facilities at the Gwynedd Council car park next to Plas Heli.
Event weekend registration – when and where?
We would recommend that you register in advance as soon as possible as spaces are limited. To register for an activity please call Plas Heli on 01758 613343.
Registration on the weekend of the event will take place at Plas Heli from 9:00am onwards. Please ensure that you arrive at the registration desk at least 15 minutes before the event takes place.
We would encourage as many of you as possible to register in advance prior to the weekend by contacting Plas Heli on 01758 613343 to avoid inconvenience for the public on the day. Participants will receive a briefing on the day by the Instructors.
Where is the venue?
Plas Heli , Glan Y Don, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, LL53 5YT
Parking on the day?
Visitors and participants can park in the FREE Gwynedd Council Car park next to the Plas Heli Building 50 meters from the beach which is about 500m from the Leisure Centre (we have arranged for FREE parking). Bike racks will be available at the front of the building. There is also free parking available at the front of the building.
Is there a briefing on the day?
ALL participants will receive a briefing from the Instructors on the day.
What to bring?
You will receive ALL the necessary equipment from Plas Heli on the day for your chosen activity. It is however advisable to bring spare and appropriate clothing, towel and trainers to get wet or neoprene shoes. You can also bring your own wet suite if you prefer, although some will be provided.
I want to watch the activities- what advice can you give me on where to watch it?
There is a spectator area on the 1st and 2nd Floor of Plas Heli where you can overlook the beach activities.
Is there anywhere we can have a bite to eat and a drink?
The Bar and Café at the Deck Plas Heli, will be serving food and drink for your convenience during the day.
