Shower and Toilet Options at Plas Heli
We have many options for showers and toilets at Plas Heli including:
- The showers accessed from the main hall. Three shower Rooms and One extra Changing Room.
- The showers in Caban Heli (the old club building). Large Changing Rooms and Showwers for Male and Female competitors for Large Events Only!
- Two shower cabins adjacent to Washdown Area.
- Toilets and one shower cabin in the porta cabin in the main compound.
- Two shower cabins in Caban Heli for Adult Campers only.
- Two shower cabins adjacent to Washdown Area.
- Three Toilets for Catering Customers on the First Floor.

General Note:
Adult toilets are in the reception area in the main building - no wet clothes here please.
The toilets upstairs, adjacent to the bar, are for catering customers only, and again no wet clothes upstairs at any time.
It is important that sand is washed off before entering any of the shower areas. Failure to follow this instruction will lead to blocked drains and the closure of the showers!
The showers in the Hafan Marina building are for Marina customers only and must not be used.
The Toilets and showers in the Main Building - Male
Sailors
Competitors 17years old or younger, please use the showers in the main hall at Plas Heli. The rear corridor will be open so that there will be 4 changing areas available.
DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR FROM THE REAR CORRIDOR TO THE WASHDOEN AREA – THESE ARE FIRE DOORS.
It is important that sand is washed off before entering any of the shower areas. Failure to follow this instruction will lead to blocked drains and the closure of the showers!
Cleaners are in attendance during events. Please help us by always keeping the facilities clean and tidy.
Competitors 18 years old or older The Event Showers and Toilets at Caban Heli can be accessed by using the same code but with a # hash # at the end.
Please make sure the door is closed and locked at all times. These are to be used by sailors 18 years old or older.

Shower Cabins - Beach Gate
There are two large shower cabins for Adult Campers during Large events located on the beach side of the main building.
These are for adult campers only. They are accessed by signing for the key at the Race Office (room 2).
Under no circumstances should these be used by anyone other than Plas Heli adult campers and the scissor gate and doors must be locked at all time.
Please sign the key out and back in, and the time of return

Room 3
Room 3 is the last room in the row of three training rooms on the ground floor. There is a connecting door to room 2 and they can be hired together if required.
This room is also suitable for class room style meetings.
The room opens to the main compound and also benefits from a breakout door to the front of the building.
This room is also used for teaching, interviews and community group meetings.
The room is suitable for groups up to a maximum of 20 persons in a flexible layout and includes dedicated work stations.
The equipment include a large screen smart TV with HDMI cable, white board and kettle.
This room has dedicated internet connection as well as site-wide WiFi.

Room 2
Room 2 is the next room along from the Commodore's room and is suitable for a class room style meeting.
The room opens out into the Main Hall and benefits from a breakout door to the front of the building.
This room is also used for teaching, interviews and community group meetings.

The equipment include a large screen smart TV with HDMI cable, white board and kettle.

Room 1 (Richard Tudor's Room)
Room 1 is the closest to the Entrance Hallway at Plas Heli and is also known as the Richard Tudor Room - in Memory of Richard Tudor a founder Director of Plas Heli. This room is suitable for a Board Room type meeting.
This room is also used for teaching, interviews and community group meetings.
The room is suitable for groups up to a maximum of 20 persons in a flexible layout and has a breakout door to the main hall.
The equipment include a large screen smart TV with HDMI cable, white board and kettle.
This room has dedicated internet connection as well as site-wide WiFi.

The Bridge
The Plas Heli safety and race management bridge is a superb event management facility.
The Bridge at Plas Heli overlooks the beach launching area and race areas.
From this room the race management team can also see the channel into the harbour and the pontoons where the safety RIBS are berthed.
The equipment include three separate VHF Shore Base Satations, wifi and dedicated internet connection as well as site-wide WiFi.

Caban Heli Shower Cabins
We have prepared two shower cabins with wet room style shower cabins in Caban Heli adjacent to Cei Heli.
These are for the Plas Heli Pontoon customers and for adult camping use on Cei Heli.
The cabins are accessed via a coded keypad - pontoon customers can appluy for their boat specific code to be applied to both cabins.

Ground Floor
Access to the Ground Floor is through the main reception area that is adjacent to the administrative offices.
A main events hall extends to 371m2. This is a multi-purpose space capable of being used for exhibitions, concerts and with a wide high door is able to accommodate large items including boats for measuring, scrutineering etc. This room can be used for dining, banqueting and for mass catering as canteen style. The main hall is overlooked by a gallery balcony providing an ideal observation of the activities in the hall or a vantage point to make a presentation to an audience in the hall.
Three training rooms each measuring 50m2 with access into the main hall or outside. These rooms are suitable for private meetings and conferences, press and communication/operation centres, teaching and educational purposes.
Four large changing and shower room facilities are available and capable of being used jointly or separately in a user definable manner.
Further facilities on the ground floor for Plas Heli use are the offices, kitchen/stores and cellar.
